    Our client is a contract manufacturing company in the medical device industry seeking a **Quality Technician** to perform inspections and support quality control activities using visual and dimensional measurement tools, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

     

    Located in St. Paul, MN

    Direct Hire

    **Pay:** $20-25/hour

    **Schedule:** Mon-Fri 1st shift

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct visual and dimensional inspections following procedures and sampling plans.

    + Perform first-piece and product inspections and document results accurately.

    + Manage nonconformances, including creating and processing MRB/DMR reports.

    + Evaluate returned goods and maintain control of inspection items.

    + Provide training and guidance on quality standards and measurement techniques.

    + Track and coordinate calibration of measuring and test equipment; perform internal audits.

    + Maintain electronic inspection records and prepare quality reports.

    + Adhere to safety practices and quality system requirements.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma required; technical education preferred.

    + 3–5 years manufacturing experience; medical device industry a plus.

    + Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using inspection tools (calipers, CMM).

    + Familiar with FDA GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience beneficial.

    + ASQ Quality Technician certification a plus.
