Fathom, an IQVIA business, has an immediate opening for a **Strategist, SEO** in the Cleveland area. As an SEO Content Strategist, you will lead on-page SEO strategies and execution for across a portfolio of client accounts., translating business goals into content-driven organic strategies that produce measurable results.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the intersection of SEO and content strategy—someone who’s passionate about keyword research, technical content audits, and optimizing web experiences for search performance. You will collaborate closely with account managers, SEO strategists, and performance analysts while bringing SEO insights into focus across client engagements. As needed, you will provide hybrid support in areas like ad copy and marketing automation content.

responsibilities

+ Own and lead the on-page SEO strategy and execution across assigned accounts

+ Conduct keyword research, SEO content audits, and competitive content analyses tied to business objectives

+ Create and deliver content assessments, optimization recommendations, and performance insights grounded in SEO best practices

+ Collaborate with account and creative teams to build integrated content plans across digital channels

+ Lead content development by creating and editing copy for S pages, blogs, and key landing pages. Partner with technical SEOs and developers as needed to ensure your content recommendations align with technical site health

+ Support ad copywriting and marketing automation content as bullpen support when needed (not as a dedicated focus)

+ Contribute to knowledge sharing and help evolve team processes, playbooks, and content frameworks

+ Stay up to date on emerging SEO content trends, algorithm updates, and industry shifts

requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field

+ 2–3+ years of experience in SEO content strategy and execution

+ Proven ability to deliver keyword-informed, goal-oriented content strategies.

+ Proven experience in writing, editing, and optimizing content for organic search performance

+ Demonstrated comfort conducting audits, analyzing data, and drawing meaningful content insights.

+ Previous experience at an agency or across multiple client industries is a plus.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and explaining content strategy decisions.

+ Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or BrightEdge

+ Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore)

+ High attention to detail, accountability for executional excellence, and an energetic, collaborative approach

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $49,500.00 - $124,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
