We’re looking for an experienced tutor to teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to motivated 7th–12th grade students at the Army Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA. This is a small group setting (3–5 students) where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, strengthening students’ reading comprehension, writing skills, and overall academic confidence.  What You’ll Do * Provide engaging, interactive lessons in ELA and Social Studies. * Adapt instruction to different learning styles and ability levels. * Build critical thinking, communication, and study skills. * Foster a supportive, respectful learning environment. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience tutoring or teaching ELA and Social Studies at the middle/high school level. * Strong communication skills and subject knowledge. * Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed. * Bonus: Ability to also tutor Spanish.
