    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION: The School-Based Services Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of contracted school-based services for youth in grades k-12. This position is responsible for coordinating staff, managing community partnerships, securing and maintaining program contracts, and maintaining alignment between services and youth needs. The coordinator supports the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally responsive services that promote emotional wellness, violence prevention, recovery awareness, and client safety to support youth’s social, emotional, behavioral and academic well-being.

    MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

    + Supervise and support assigned clinicians

    + Coordinate program activities, calendar, and staffing assignments

    + Manage partnerships with school districts, partnering agencies, local organizations and stakeholders

    + Demonstrates a commitment to developing strong working relationships with school administration, district leadership, teacher and paraprofessionals

    + Leads weekly supervision for assigned clinicians focused on youth treatment and goals, documentation compliance, and school collaboration.

    + Ensure program compliance with contract goals and reporting requirements

    + Demonstrates competency and experience with individual counseling, group counseling and family counseling

    + Collect and analyze program data, attendance logs, and outcome measures

    + Represent the program in community meetings, school events, and stakeholder gatherings

    + Identify gaps in service and implement responsive adjustments or enhancements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Education:Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field required; LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW preferred

    + Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating school or community-based programs

    + Skills:Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage staff, coordinate activities, and build partnerships

    EXPERIENCE:

    + Experience in trauma-informed and client-centered program delivery

    + Background in community collaboration, staff supervision, and program development

    + Familiarity with mental health counseling, violence prevention, substance use awareness, and school and community-based services

    + Proven ability to meet deadlines, maintain records, and report outcomes

    + Ability to travel between school districts

    + Participation in grant reporting, staff training, and professional development

    + Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends for special events or programming
