    George F. Young, Inc. (GFY) is seeking a SUE Field Supervisor to join our team. This position will primarily lead field projects focused on the precise location of various utilities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Plan, organize, and direct crew activities to locate utilities accurately.

    + Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to job-specific quality system tasks.

    + Supervise field personnel, including staff development and workload forecasting.

    + Analyze and interpret reports, maps, blueprints, and other relevant data. Apply mathematical and technical concepts to project planning and execution.

    + Must have a thorough knowledge of generally accepted utilities procedures and field execution of work, and accurate note keeping

    + Out of town travel may be required.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Minimum 5 years of utility-related experience, with a background in SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering)

    + Must have a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report

    + Proficient in reading civil engineering and survey plans, making informed field decisions, and applying technical concepts.

    + Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
