Mobile Response Team – Aircraft Maintenance Technician

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced **Aircraft Maintenance Technicians** to join our **Mobile Response Team (MRT)** in Bedford, MA. This elite team supports AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery operations across North America, delivering fast, high-quality maintenance services that keep advanced business jets mission-ready. In this role, you’ll travel to off-site locations, perform complex maintenance, and help return aircraft to service under tight timelines—making you a critical part of our aviation support network.

Key Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.

+ Document work in accordance with all applicable manuals, regulations, and company standards.

+ Assist across multiple disciplines, including avionics, structures, composites, and systems.

+ Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.

+ Conduct aircraft return-to-service procedures following maintenance at off-site locations.

+ Maintain readiness for on-call deployments, sometimes within two hours’ notice.

+ Audit MRT vehicle, equipment, and tools monthly.

+ Serve as Delegated Inspector (DI) when qualified by QA.

Qualifications

+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.

+ Minimum 3 years’ aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 1 year on large-cabin business jets (Challenger, Global, or similar).

+ Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capability to communicate effectively with customers.

+ Basic set of hand tools with inventory control.

+ Ability to work independently and in varied weather conditions.

+ Valid driver’s license with insurable status.

+ Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.

+ Willingness to travel extensively (potentially multiple weeks at a time) and work irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, and unscheduled overtime.

**Pay Details:** $40.00 to $48.00 per hour
