Qualifications for HHA – Home Health Aide:

+ Have at least **one year of work experience**

+ **Must be listed on the NJ Board of Nursing registry, active and in good standing.**

+ Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

+ Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

+ Meet all state requirements

BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs):

+ Base Pay: $17-$20 / hour case by case basis

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

+ Activities of daily living

+ Bathing

+ Grooming

+ Toileting

+ Nail care

+ Range of motion / exercises

+ Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

+ Oral feeding

+ Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

+ Assisting with ambulation

+ Medication assistance
