    Description:

    **Hours** : PRN/Varied

    What you will do:

    + Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

    + Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift including emergency callback. Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.

    + Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

    + Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with patients,other staff, radiologists, students and other management.  Actively listens and positively accepts change and is able to deal with stressful situations.

    + Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution of physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.

    + Utilizes correct process for patient identification. Right patient, right exam, right time.

    + Participates as directed in QA activities, maintains current relevant documentation.

    + Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services.

    Qualifications:

    + Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).

    + Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.

    + Maintains active registry status.

    + Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

    + Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
