How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
A Delta Professional Services (DPS) Aviation Management intern will help achieve divisional goals and contribute to DPS' overall success. Interns will be working with a specific team such as, but not limited to, Business systems or Business Administration & Employee Services.
+ Interns will have the opportunity to work with and gain experience in other departments, such as, but not limited to, Account Services, Comms & Engagement, ATP CTP, Sourcing & Pipeline, Flight Operations.
+ This is a paid internship, including additional privileges such as standby travel anywhere in the Delta system while off duty. This is not a remote opportunity, Interns will work on-site at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Must be able to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA office.
Have a competitive GPA and be in good academic standing with your university.
Show competency in skills that include collection and analysis of data, reading and summarizing new regulations, and the ability to problem solve quickly.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
Strong organizational and time management skills required.
Internally motivated, curious, ready to learn, and eager to make an impact.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and time constraints while being able to manage and prioritize multiple project requests conjointly.
Possess excellent communication skills, be able to process complicated issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Information Technology Management), Aviation Management, or Industrial Engineering (or similar degree with applicable skills)
Must commit to the internship timeline: May 11th, 2026, through July 31, 2026.
You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as an intern at the same time, which may delay your graduation.Working as an intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
