    **Title:** Product Owner II

    **Job Location:** One M&T Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203.

    **Job Description:** Build and own the large product or set of products' vision and roadmap that align with the overall strategic intent and communicate them with the team and all stakeholders. Prioritize the backlog(s) based on the overall product vision and strategy. Move delivery forward in alignment with the overall product vision and strategy. Write user stories and groom the backlog in partnership with the team. Specify acceptance criteria for each user story in support of moving the team to Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD). Work directly with the delivery team to create appropriate information radiators and other communication tools for internal team and stakeholder use to show progress on a large product or multiple products. Use a matrixed influencing approach to work with essential business partners throughout the organization, often at a more senior level and irrespective of hierarchy or divisions, advocating for the benefit of the customer. Focus on outcomes over outputs, incorporating design thinking methods and analytics to inform product design. Collaborate across teams and with other Product Owners to align the customer journey and dependent backlogs. Assess the Company’s risk and apply regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Maintain M&T’s internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

    **Minimum requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, or related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with each of the following: Data sourcing and data mapping into enterprise applications; Documenting source to target data mapping, transformation rules, joins and filter conditions; Oracle OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application) platform; Cash Flow projection methodologies and banking regulations; Jira, Confluence, SQL and Microsoft applications; Working with development, QA and business teams during build, System Testing & User Acceptance Testing; Working with users to elicit and document requirements, develop solutions, drafting User stories, and other requirement specification deliverables; Product backlog prioritization, refinement, sprint planning, retrospective and other Agile ceremonies; Product design and development best practices; Agile and Lean principles and practices; Developing and managing digital capabilities; and Experience with the following banking systems: AFS, SHAW, IDS Commercial Leasing, CLC Commercial Construction, DataScan WMS, nCino, Empower, Black Knight MSP, TSYS and Hogan.

    **Salary:** $159,000.00 – $169,000.00
