Description
We are looking for a Media Talent Director to lead strategic initiatives in press and talent relations, helping to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise in media relations, digital communication strategies, and corporate communications to support the organization’s mission in clinical, scientific, and public education domains.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive press and talent relations strategies to maximize brand exposure and visibility.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align media and talent initiatives with organizational goals.
• Draft and edit press materials, including press releases, advisories, statements, and briefing documents, to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor and maintain press tracking systems to analyze media coverage and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Design and implement publicity plans for brand-building campaigns to enhance public recognition.
• Provide strategic guidance on media relations and talent engagement to amplify the organization's mission and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, entertainment industry professionals, and influencers.
• Prepare message guidance, fact sheets, and other supporting materials for media outreach and talent engagements.
• Manage photography for events and communication strategies across digital platforms to optimize visibility and engagement.
Requirements
• BA or BS Required
• 10+ years of experience in public relations and corporate communications.
• Strong skills in digital media planning and execution.
• Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
• Expertise in crafting press materials and managing media campaigns.
• Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Track record of building relationships with media outlets and entertainment professionals.
• Proficient in monitoring media coverage and analyzing campaign effectiveness.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
