Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Spanish Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in Glendale, California. In this role, you will provide essential support to the litigation team, handling tasks such as court filings, scheduling, and client coordination, while ensuring deadlines are met and processes run smoothly. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in personal injury litigation and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain litigation calendars, tracking trial dates and distributing weekly schedules to relevant parties.

• Prepare and file key legal documents, including case management statements and notices, using e-filing systems.

• Assist attorneys with case preparation by gathering materials, collecting hearing reports, and ensuring readiness for court appearances.

• Coordinate deposition and mediation logistics with clients, ensuring signed releases and clear communication of requirements.

• Schedule and manage vendors such as court reporters, videographers, mediators, and logistical support for examinations.

• Update case tracking systems, including litigation memos, deadlines, and cost management.

• Facilitate effective communication between attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation support or legal assistant roles.

• Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and e-filing systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of California civil litigation procedures.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in Spanish.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
