Position Summary:
+ Responsible for the supervision of the staff members assigned to the shift or specialty team and for the successful operational and administrative functions of the shift
+ Utilizes the nursing process to assure care is provided to the assigned patient population in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
+ Serves as a resource and assures care is provided in a compassionate, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion, is based on the Caring Model and exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Rush Copley and in accordance with policies and procedures
+ Assures the highest degree of quality care is followed at all times keeping the care and safety of the assigned patient population as a top priority

Position Requirements:
+ Current IL RN Licensure
+ American Heart Association CPR and BLS required.
+ Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
+ CNOR certification strongly preferred
+ BSN degree, if not already obtained, required within 5 years of hire.
+ Ability to take assigned call shifts with 30-minure response time
+ Supervisory experience preferred with a high level of team skills necessary for planning, organizing, problem-solving and decision-making, with a belief in the team concept
