DEPARTMENT : Camp SWONEKY - Oregonia, OH

REPORTS TO: Camp Facilities Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

STATUS: Non Exempt Part Time Temporary

FUNCTION: To feed and care for animals on weekends, holidays and staff vacations as requested.

Responsibilities

DUTIES

+ Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested.

+ Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals.

+ Performs work in accordance with sound safety practices

+ Perform routine safety inspections.

+ Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God.

+ Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast

+ All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ 18 years of age or older

+ Desire to work a hands-on job with a variety of animals

+ Ability to do physical labor, lifting occasionally up to 50 pounds
