Job Description:
*Come and join Highland Hospital's Leadership team! Highland Hospital is seeking a Program Administrator for its Emergency and Observation Unit's.
Some duties include but are not limited to:
Functions as the Administrator for the Emergency Department and Emergency Observation Unit. Position will be responsible for directing strategic business components, staff management, and operational and financial performance. The Administrator will provide routine reports illustrating business growth and development via P&L’s and other reports to the hospital administration and finance departments. Additionally where applicable, position is responsible for the management and reporting of finances to URFMG.
Salary Range:
$122,000.00 - $183,000.00 annually

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._

Job Requirements:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, or business preferred. Masters or advanced degree preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within a medical / surgical office, or hospital / preferred. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience or equivalent education within the hospital system with preference in surgical arena.
+ License/Certification Required: none; Certification in Medical Office Management preferred.
+ Skills: Computer knowledge and experience necessary, with preference for skilled use of Excel and Microsoft applications. Must have exceptional leadership skills and be self-directed. Must be team and goal oriented; have excellent time management and prioritization skills. Must have an understanding of basic accounting, documentation and billing procedures. EPIC training and experience strongly preferred
