    CHI St. Vincent is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology team at the **CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Cardiology and Medicine Clinic in Little Rock** .     About the Role:

    As a PRN Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will provide essential support to our cardiology team, focusing on pre- and post-procedure patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + **Monitoring patient care post catheterization and angioplasty:** Assessing patient status, managing complications, and ensuring a smooth recovery.

    + **Discharge planning:** Coordinating discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.

    + **Preparing patients for procedures:** Educating patients about the procedure, answering questions, and addressing concerns.

    + **Monitoring care plans:** Ensuring adherence to established protocols and collaborating with the cardiology team to adjust plans as needed.

    + **Patient education:** Providing comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their heart condition, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

    + Assisting with other cardiology-related tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

    + Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain).

    + DEA license (or eligible to obtain).

    + Experience in cardiology preferred, but not required.

    + Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular disease.

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Ability to adapt to a flexible PRN schedule.

    Pay Range

    $46.30 - $63.67 /hour
