    What You’ll Do

    + **Lead with Vision** : Provide strategic and operational direction to the Commercial Lines Department, guiding Underwriting Managers and collaborating with Product and Underwriting teams.

    + **Optimize Performance** : Champion the development and implementation of underwriting systems and procedures that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    + **Strengthen Agency Partnerships** : Build and maintain strong relationships with our agency force, supporting profitable growth and ensuring alignment with market objectives.

    + **Drive Profitability & Growth** : Oversee product competitiveness and profitability across all lines of business, ensuring sustainable expansion.

    + **Develop Future Leaders** : Lead hiring, training, and career development initiatives to build a skilled, future-ready team.

    + **Represent with Influence** : Serve as the department’s ambassador across internal teams, external partners, vendors, and industry forums.

    What You Bring

    + **Experience & Expertise** : 9+ years in commercial lines underwriting, including leadership roles. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

    + **Technical Mastery** : Deep knowledge of rate setting, class plan development, underwriting procedures, premium audit, and product innovation

    + **Leadership Excellence** : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex operations, and drive strategic initiatives
