Pega Ventures and Launchpad Business Analyst Fall Intern

This role is part of our Fall 2025 Internship Program. Candidates must be available to work at least 16 hours per week from September through December 2025.

Meet Our Team:

Pega Ventures was launched in 2017 as the corporate venture arm of Pega to invest in growing Pega partner companies which have demonstrated success in selling and implementing Pega technologies for customers. With the recent establishment of Pega Launchpad, a B2B SaaS application development platform, Pega Ventures not only supports the growth and success of Pega’s partner ecosystem, but also focuses on accelerating the growth of Launchpad developers through the strategic investment of capital and resources. Pega Ventures is a small entrepreneurial team working alongside Pega Launchpad to support Pega’s growth objectives through building a premier set of high quality Pega-dedicated partners delivering customer success and driving significant sales impact and Pega-enabled application developers.

What You'll Do at Pega:

This internship will support both the Pega Venture and Launchpad team. You will gain exposure and experience with sales, marketing, finance, legal, venture investing and strategy.

_Pre-Investment_

+ Perform research and profile software companies to understand their size, focus, objectives, business plans, and fit for Launchpad / Pega Ventures

+ Perform research and source VC/PE companies for ideal fit in the Venture Alliance Program for Launchpad

+ Support outreach with Investors, Founders and the startup community to assess investment or partnership

+ Support investment memoranda preparation and related documentation to support decision-making

+ Assist in driving new investment/new fund launch

_Post-Investment_

+ Assist in ad-hoc projects/tasks

+ Participate and assist in financial modeling

+ Assist with quantitative executive direction and due diligence

+ Assist with M&A activity and related research and execution

+ Help to manage/plan Venture / Launchpad events

_Other_

+ Research relevant industry and investment events

+ Support Launchpad marketing campaign

+ Support Launchpad social media content

+ Assist in marketing metrics reporting

Who You Are:

You are passionate about research and providing quality analytic thinking while eager to develop your skills within an enterprise environment. You think outside the box and use your experience for more effective collaboration.

+ Pursuing BS or BA in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field.

+ Excellent research skills and ability to organize, synthesize, and present information and resulting conclusions (both qualitative and quantitative)

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Exceptional communication skills and business acumen. Must be comfortable with both email/phone correspondences as there may be a lot of communication back and forth.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint

+ Must be a leader with an action-oriented, problem-solving approach to work

+ Self-starter, independent and can manage time wisely

+ Ability to be self-autonomous

+ Possess curiosity, flexibility and enthusiasm

+ Works well in an unstructured environment; Comfortable with working remote; Potentially meet once every few weeks in person

+ Excited about the startup, corporate venture and investment world

+ Venture or Private Equity experience a plus
