This rapidly growing program provides opportunities for students in multiple areas of the business to receive employee level experience, not just busy work. **Internship Activities:** Over the course of the summer, Love’s interns also participate in the following:

+ Instructor led Training (Technical and Soft Skills)

+ Mentor program

+ Formal presentation to Love’s leadership

The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the Corporate Development department and to facilitate a learning opportunity. The intern will assist in the effort for researching, analyzing, and reporting on businesses, new products, and other strategic opportunities for Love’s Family of Companies.

Job Functions:

+ Handle and be discreet with confidential information which would have immediate impact on the company and counterparties if shared beyond its intended audience and relevant company management

+ Research, organize and communicate information from various sources related to corporate development opportunities

+ Identify and mine internal and external sources and market opportunities to attract new customers and generate business development opportunities

+ Could require occasional travel

Experience and Qualifications** **:

+ HS Diploma or equivalent required

+ Currently enrolled in four-year university program, a sophomore level or above (pursing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance)

+ Past internship experience a plus but not required

Skills and Physical Demands:

+ Strong communication, listening, and critical thinking skills

+ Extremely well organized with attention to detail

+ Computer skills, including heavy use of Microsoft Office products

+ Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator

+ Requires normal range of hearing and vision
