    Hours of work: Day tour but will have tour changed during certain division needs.

    Compensation:

    Assistant Transit Management Analyst I: $67,933 - $80,421 (TA)

     

    Assistant Transit Management Analyst II: $78,874 - $87,847 (TA)

     

    Associate Transit Management Analyst: $89,162 - $115,445 (TA)

    Summary:

    The Infrastructure Analyst will play a vital role in supporting Hydraulics management by coordinating administrative functions, producing regular reports, and tracking key operational metrics. This role ensures the timely flow of information and approvals across subdivisions and contributes to the overall efficiency and communication within the department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist management in the compilation and distribution of internal reports.

    + Organize and track responses from Infrastructure subdivisions on various requests.

    + Facilitate monthly Work Order meetings and compile the associated reports.

    + Track and report on overtime (OT) usage for Infrastructure.

    + Assist in reports and data pulled from Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System.

    + Generate weekly/monthly reports on maintenance and repairs for Infrastructure.

    + Perform other administrative and reporting duties as assigned.

    Desired Skills:

    + Proven experience in administrative coordination or operations support, preferably in a public or infrastructure-focused environment.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI) including but not limited to the creation and manipulation of functions, pivot tables, generation of reports, and importing/exporting complex data.

    + Comfortable managing and balancing multiple priorities concurrently to adhere to specific deadlines.

    + Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment to develop more efficient and effective operations.

    + Ability to develop, collect, formulate and maintain databases, spreadsheets, estimates, project schedules and reports.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in report preparation and data entry.

    + Experience with budget tracking, reporting, or service plan documentation is a plus.

    + Familiarity and experience with Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM) is desired.

    + Familiarity with infrastructure, facilities, or capital project environments is desirable.

    Education and Experience:

    Assistant Transit Management Analyst I – II:

    1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or

    2.A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration.

    Associate Transit Management Analyst:

    1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of full‐time satisfactory professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration; or

    2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above.

    Selection Method:

    Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.

     

    All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
