    Job Description Summary:

    The Sr Director of Rehab Services is responsible for overall operations and administration of all OhioHealth rehabilitation services. By directing rehabilitation managers at multiple locations, the Sr Director of Rehab Services ensures accurate and timely rehabilitation support of clinical services. The incumbent is also responsible for development and implementation of treatments, processes and best practices, and the procurement of required personnel, equipment, and materials. The Sr Director of Rehab Services ensures cross-campus collaboration and where appropriate, standardization of rehabilitation processes, and ensures coordination of rehab services with Nursing, the medical staff, and administration initiatives. This position establishes and maintains interdepartmental and inter-hospital communications and good working relations. The Sr Director of Rehab Services assists with long-range, capital, and strategic planning for OhioHealth Rehabilitation Services.

    Responsibilities And Duties:

    55%

     

    Coordinates system rehab operations to assure compliance with accreditation and standardization of best practice at all sites and facilities; maintains accountability at all sites for system, hospital and rehabilitation operational metrics; directs and develops Rehabilitation managers, hospital managers and technical scientists in their corresponding roles

     

    15%

     

    Establishes and maintains relationships with hospital clinical staff, physicians and administration; provides necessary data to support staffing, expense and capital needs at each campus; provides support to campus specific initiatives

    Directs operations of the Rehabilitation locations; provides coordination of service and adherence to established service levels with the other OhioHealth Rehab facilities; works closely with Outreach leadership to assure that appropriate processes, treatment options and turnaround times are maintained; provides support for new treatment development and research

    Contributes to long-range and strategic planning for OhioHealth Rehabilitation services

     

    5%

     

    Oversees volume, expense and capital budgeting process across all sites; supports site leadership with staffing and human resource issues, including standardization of policies and job descriptions

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree: Rehabilitation Services (Required)

    Additional Job Description:

    SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

    Field of Study: advanced degree in rehabilitation field. Plus, eight years’ experience in a hospital clinical setting of which at least five were in a management position.
