    NIGHT SHIFTS

    Responsibilities:

    + Demonstrates highly developed clinical assessment and analytical skills within the framework of Relationship-Based Care.

    + Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

    + Provides comprehensive patient documentation that supports safe and informed transitions of care.

    + Gives constructive feedback and participates in the nursing peer review process.Mentorship & Professional Development

    + Enthusiastically precepts students, graduate nurses, and new team members.

    + Identifies learning opportunities in clinical and behavioral situations to enhance care delivery.

    + Actively supports continuous learning through journal clubs, unit presentations, and sharing relevant research.

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.

     

    Education: BSN preferred. If BSN is held, a Master’s in a related field may substitute for certification.

     

    Licensure: Must have current RN licensure in the state of practice or a compact nursing license (NLC).

     

    Certifications:CPR (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.

    + Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Effective in managing multiple priorities and working within a fast-paced, complex environment.

    + Capable of leading others in the nursing process and exercising sound decision-making.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; builds positive, caring relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

    + Physical stamina and mobility to support frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.
