    The Opportunity:

    The Teva R&D CFO role leads the Finance function for the R&D organization. This role focuses on providing strong strategic financial partnership to Teva’s R&D Executive Vice President and the leadership team for implementing Teva’s Pivot to Growth strategy and long-term financial targets.

     

    This role oversees the financial aspects of research and development activities within the company. This involves not only managing the R&D budget but also aligning R&D investments with the company's long-term strategic goals and ensuring financial sustainability

     

    This role is an opportunity for an influential Finance Leader to play a pivotal role in driving R&D to become a world class organization with a profitable business model.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Financial Strategy and Planning:**

    + Developing and executing global financial strategies aligned with R&D’s overall business objectives.

    + Partner with the Global CFO to align regional financial strategies with global objectives

    + Lead short term and long-term planning for forecast accuracy and promote digital and AI tools

    + Lead strategic partnerships and contribute to various governance committees

    + **Operational Finance:**

    + Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations across all R&D footprint.

    + Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures to mitigate risks.

    + Analyzing operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization

    + Managing financial and business performance by developing appropriate metrics on to measure performance, monitor variances to forecasts, and developing action plans to address variances.

    + Leveraging Global Business Services (GBS) for offshoring activities, build capabilities to meet finance management efficiencies.

    + Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

    + Leading, managing and executing Finance transformation and implementation across R&D.

    + **Financial Reporting and Analysis:**

    + Leading the preparation of accurate and timely global financial reports, including consolidated financial statements.

    + Communicating key financial metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

    + Ensuring that financial information, analysis and reporting is accurate, timely, reliable and relevant, across R&D

    + Providing consistent and accurate financial forecasting for company.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    Education/Certification/Experience:

    + 15 years of progressive experience in a similar sized Global finance leadership role for a listed organization. Past R&D Finance experience is preferred.

    + Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting or finance (MBA Preferred)

    + Pharma organization with a focus on cost accounting and development experience – preferable

    + CPA - preferable

    + 10-15 years of related finance and team management experience

    + Experience with financial reporting requirements

    + GAAP knowledge

    + Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, SAC, AI
