    Position Summary: Provide one on one coaching support to individuals in the ACE Program (Assisted Competitive Employment)

    Essential Accountabilities:

    + Job Coaching on site and off site.

    + Performing outreach to companies in Brooklyn and Queens to create awareness of ACE program to potential hirers.

    + Job develop within local communities building relationships for personalized job goals.

    + Reporting data to upper management.

    + Supporting individuals with mental health/disabilities to maintain employment.

    + Assist with resume writing, job search and interview preparation.

    + Conduct skills assessments or job analysis to determine individuals' strengths and needs.

    + Meet with employers, case managers or clinical team staff to review or update the progress of individuals growth.

    + Attended staff meetings with directors and upper management to present or discuss program achievements.

    + Complete all required training for ACE program trainings. Submit reports to DOHMH system when needed monthly as required by contract.

    + Assist ACE Employment Specialist with maintaining files, reporting improvements of barriers listed in participant’s vocational goal.

    + Duties will include , outreach, marketing, networking connecting with potential referral sources.

    Job Qualifications

    Associate’s degree in related field such as human resources, psychology, counseling or combined education. Work experience in job coaching, career counseling or related role. Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication. Ability to motivate and inspire individuals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job search engines. Active/valid NYS Driver’s license.
