Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is currently seeking an HVAC Journeyman Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, modification and troubleshooting and maintenance of, chillers (air-cooled/water-cooled), boilers (water/steam), roof-top units and unitary HVAC equipment.

**Your pay:** $30+ per hour, depending on experience. Pay review annually. Your increases are based on your performance.

Your main Tasks:

+ Be safe! Safety is our #1 priority.

+ Maintain & troubleshoot Commercial HVAC equipment.

+ Service split systems, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX Systems, etc.

+ Test & replace parts using appropriate instruments.

+ Remain customer service focused.

Experience or Certification needed:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration from an accredited Institution required OR a recognized apprenticeship program, but not limited to service and operation.

+ 5+ years’ experience.

+ Must have a clean driving record.

+ EPA Certified

You need to be able to:

+ Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.

+ Be punctual and reliable.

+ Work 10-hour days and overtime when necessary.

+ On call availability. On call is on a rotation.

+ Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.

+ Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.

+ Work efficiently in confined spaces.

+ Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
