### Job Duties
Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new equipment installations.
Perform engineering calculations to support design work. Use mechanical engineering processes by
designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software. Utilize
experience in calculation of air flow, hydraulic systems, and equipment power to direct fabrication
specifications or product recommendations. Assure system and product quality by designing testing
methods; testing finished-product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and
installation processes. Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Collaborate with production team, and work with vendors and contractors. Under the oversight of the
Manufacturing Manager, ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget, ensures all
equipment is ordered and onsite in accordance with project timeline. As needed, acts as a liaison
between the organization and 3rd party contractors that assist with fabrication, supply procurement, or
consultations. Developing and implementing optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and
methods, including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment, in accordance with
product specifications and quality standards. Utilize the following tools and technologies: Autodesk
Inventor, Solidworks, Autocad, Creo Parametric, IOS Pro-create, Fusion 360, Polycam 3D, Chitubox,
Bambulab Studio, MS Project, and Windows Operating System. Position requires domestic travel up to
10% as needed and customary for the occupation.
### Minimum Education Required
The position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or closely related
field. The qualified candidate must have at least 6 months of experience in a mechanical engineer,
manufacturing engineer, or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must also have at least 6
months of experience with all of the following: (a) collaborating and coordinating with vendors and
contractors for design, operation, and installation of mechanical equipment; (b) developing
manufacturing processes by designing and modifying mechanical equipment; (c) developing, reviewing,
and maintaining technical documentation such as drawing, plans, and routings; (d) executing
improvements to the quality and efficiency of processes and products; (e) analyzing and testing
manufacturing processes, products, and equipment; and (f) utilizing the following tools and
technologies: Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Autocad, Creo Parametric, IOS Pro-create, Fusion 360,
Polycam 3D, Chitubox, Bambulab Studio, MS Project, and Windows Operating System. All experience
may be gained concurrently.
