• Information Engineer - Level 4

    Description

    Senior-level engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex information systems. Leads cross-functional projects, ensures architectural alignment with business goals, and mentors junior engineers.

    Responsibilities:

    + Architect scalable, secure information systems (e.g., data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, enterprise APIs).

    + Define technical standards, governance policies, and best practices.

    + Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, cloud-native tools) for strategic adoption.

    + Lead full lifecycle of critical projects (requirements, design, deployment, maintenance).

    + Troubleshoot high-impact system failures; perform root-cause analysis.

    + Collaborate with C-suite/stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.

    + Guide junior engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and skill development.

    + Partner with security/compliance teams to mitigate risks (e.g., data privacy, regulatory requirements).

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    + 7+ years in systems engineering, data architecture, or software development.

    + Expertise in **two or more**:

    + Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

    + Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake).

    + Enterprise integration (APIs, ETL, microservices).

    + DevOps/MLOps practices.

    + Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects.

    Preferred:

    + Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP).

    + Experience with AI/ML workflows or cybersecurity frameworks.

    + Strong stakeholder communication (VP/C-level).
