SGI Global is seeking IT Specialists to support the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 5 Traffic Operations. These professionals will support the agency's sophisticated traffic management systems, focusing on administration, security, infrastructure, and special programs critical to transportation operations across Central Florida.

*Contingent on contract award*

Responsibilities:

+ Firewall & Web Filter Administration

+ Fortinet firewalls: Role and policy updates

+ FortiGate systems: Weekly audits, permission management, status monitoring

+ Server & Security Administration

+ VMWare, Veeam, Dell Compellent/Powerstore

+ Active Directory, RADIUS, security access request workflows via Atlassian Jira

+ Managing user roles and background clearances (CJIS, SLERS)

+ Special Program Support: Includes first-level support and coordination for:

+ Activu, Road Ranger App, iVDS, SunGuide, BlueMac

+ MIMS, ITS Facility Mgmt, SCCM/SCOM, Solarwinds

+ Any newly introduced or proprietary applications

+ Network Administration (Backup)

+ Support for Extreme/Brocade devices during non-standard hours (e.g., Fridays)

+ Workstation Support

+ Hardware setup, troubleshooting, inventory management, and end-user documentation

Qualifications

+ US Citizen.

+ Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience

+ Must complete all security and background screenings prior to start.

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to work full-time, 40 hours/week.
