    Set Up Molding Machine Position

    Whirlpool Corporation, a leading global appliance manufacturer, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Clyde, Ohio, as Set Up Molding Machine Operators.

     

    In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining plastic injection molding machines and related equipment.

     

    This role will be on Afternoon or Midnight Shift.

    Responsibilities:

    + Pulling and setting molds.

    + Analyzing and making necessary adjustments to correct malfunctions, including issues with temperature, pressure, and cycle times.

    + Reading and understanding complex part prints to set up and maintain proper machine specifications

    + Troubleshoot and adjust machine setting to correct malfunctions

    Qualifications:

    + A minimum of 3 years of experience working on plastic injection molding machines.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with RJG is desired.

    + background with cosmetic, class A parts

    + understanding of resin dryer operation and setup

    + knowledge with valve gated molds

    + experience with acrylic, ABS and polypropylene resins.

    + Willingness to work any shift or alternative work schedules.
