Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Chardon, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while utilizing your expertise in accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process, review, and reconcile financial transactions on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.

• Prepare and file local income tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Update and manage cash forecasting and cash flow reports on a regular basis.

• Handle accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial analysis and reporting needs.

• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local accounting principles and regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in performing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.

• Experience in filing local income tax returns.

• Strong skills in cash forecasting and cash flow management.

• Knowledge of accounts payable functions and procedures.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools, including Intuitive systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to perform accurate reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
