Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract remote Lab Investigation Specialist for our Medical partner.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $21 and $22. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

The Lab Investigation Specialist is responsible for managing the accuracy, quality and confidentiality of incoming data and test results from our internal and external partners. This includes but not limited to; managing the upload and tracking of daily lab test results, monitoring and updating incomplete queues across locations, investigating lab result issues, manually processing any unintegrated results, uploading results from manual systems, and addressing failed report transmissions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manage Collection Site Exams
+ Process DS Upload 3xs daily
+ Track Notifications for Completed DS & Check in Exams
+ Manage the MediQ Incomplete queue: Branches, Clinics, Onsite Events, Updating comment history and pushing to evaluation for final coding
+ Investigate incomplete or errored lab results: Work directly with representatives from Lab Corp, Quest and other vendors to resolve, Manually complete the QUEST drug screen results
+ Pull the results from the Quest Website and process and upload into MediQ
+ Confirm and check the accuracy and integrity of the data
+ Report Failures- Manually pull and upload any Lab Corp or Quest lab pdf report that failed in electronic transmission

+ High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general comfort navigating EMR or scheduling systems.

+ Experience in a healthcare or clinical support setting is a plus.
+ Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
+ Three (3) years’ experience in operations, customer service, or administrative support, ideally within a healthcare setting.
+ One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a laboratory setting with experience in data entry, record-keeping, and external vendor communication, is a plus.
+ Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly.

+ Must be able to travel outside the office and attend meetings during and after regular work hours.
**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
