As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will report to a Supervisor and use a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reporting for all shipping and receiving activities. You will work Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM and will be paid weekly at $15.50 per hour.

How you create impact

+ Process customer orders received via mail, email, fax, EDI, or phone

+ Verify and organize data for entry

+ Review records and communicate pricing, shipping details, and updates to customers

+ Enter orders into the system and calculate total cost; file order copies as needed

+ Coordinate with the warehouse and carriers to resolve shipping issues

+ Prepare reports and track order statistics

+ Investigate late, damaged, or missing shipments

+ Handle billing and service complaints; escalate as needed and keep customers informed

+ Provide backup support for non-primary accounts

+ Perform additional tasks as assigned

What we would like you to bring

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of order entry systems

+ Experience with SAP or any other WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

+ Customer service experience
