    Are you a driven financial professional with a passion for building relationships and supporting local businesses? First International Bank and Trust is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer with strong Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending experience to join our team in Edina, MN.

     

    This is an in-office position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and grow commercial lending relationships through strategic networking and market outreach.

    + Evaluate client financial needs and recommend tailored lending solutions.

    + Analyze title reports and surveys to identify potential risks.

    + Negotiate loan terms that align with both client goals and bank interests.

    + Ensure clients fully understand loan conditions and terms.

    + Manage delinquent accounts and determine appropriate actions.

    + Deliver exceptional customer service while creating value for both the client and FIBT.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to optimize loan processing and customer experience.

    + Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.

    + Maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; 3+ years experience in commercial lending or related related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

    + Proven track record in business development and loan origination.

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and market conditions.

    + Deep understanding of the Twin Cities market.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
