    What you will do

    + Assist pharmacists in preparing medications for hospice patients and processing admissions, transfers, and discharges.

    + Manage phone inquiries, enters charge, and notifies pharmacist as needed.

    + Select, prepare, and label medications for dispensing; prepare FedEx labels for shipments.

    + Return unused medication bottles post-preparation and gather medications for automated dispensing machines.

    + Maintain inventory levels, communicate ordering needs, and restock supplies while removing outdated items.

    + Support equipment maintenance and ensures a clean, sanitized work environment.

    + Collaborate with pharmacy team members and hospice partners and assist in training new staff as needed.

    What we look for

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred

    + Pharmacy Technician license in the state, if applicable

    + Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician required

    + Hospice and palliative care experience preferred

    + Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment

    + Strong typing, computer, verbal, and written communication skills

    + Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities

    + Familiarity with Framework LTC dispensing software and pharmacy automation preferred

    + **Hospice or palliative care experience:** Some Knowledge

    + **Experience with FrameWorks LTC software:** Some Knowledge

    + **Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams:** Some Knowledge

    + **Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:** Some Knowledge

    Education

    + Valid U.S. Driver License
