    Brief Description

    The PT Compliance Specialist is responsible for:

    + Ensuring operational workflow is completed for PT compliance notice (PTCN) processes including:

    + Completing QC process for PTCNs to ensure accuracy.

    + Serving as a backup to Senior Analyst, Proficiency Testing to ensure PTCNs are generated and distributed to customers

    + Distributing returned PTCNs from participant laboratories to PT Compliance Technical Specialists for review.

    + Performing audits for all laboratories applying to the laboratory accreditation program to ensure appropriate PT enrollment and successful PT performance.

    + Providing customer service for routine PT compliance questions.

    Specific Duties

    Primary duties and responsibilities:

    + Perform proficiency testing (PT) audits for all laboratories applying to the laboratory accreditation program and work directly with the laboratories to ensure appropriate PT enrollment and successful PT performance.

    + Work closely with Lead Technical Specialist to QC compliance notices prior to distribution to laboratories

    + Serve as backup for Senior Analyst, Proficiency Testing, in areas including

    + - Maintenance and transmission of data from CAP accepted PT providers

    + - Generation of PTCNs

    + - Troubleshooting system issues

    + - Generating reports for regulatory agencies

    + Distribute returned PTCNs from participant laboratories to PT Compliance Technical Specialists for review.

    + Follow up with laboratories regarding missing PT enrollment and late responses to PTCNs

    + Assist laboratories with routine questions about PT program offerings and compliance during PT audits of initial laboratories and follow up.

    + Provide ACD phone support and answer Salesforce cases related to routine questions regarding PT requirements, activity menu, and PT compliance.

    + Manage distribution of Salesforce cases across the PT Compliance Team

    + Perform UAT testing for system improvements and tickets to resolve break/fixes.

    + Print complaint documentation associated with accredited laboratories and deliver to Investigation Analysts.

     

    Knowledge/Skills Required/Preferred

    + Ability to prioritize fluctuating workload and multiple demands.

    + Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

    + Good customer service skills.

    + Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    + Proficiency of clinical laboratory processes and terminology is desirable.

    Technical:

    + Proficient with Microsoft Windows’ applications.

    + Experience working with multiple computer applications to complete business tasks.

    + Knowledge of Informix SQL is a plus.

    + Knowledge of proficiency testing program offerings is a plus.

    Education/Experience

    Education

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Experience

    + 2 years of experience in a business or customer service environment.

    Additional Criteria

    This position is based out of the Northfield, IL office. Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the Northfield headquarters.

     

    Salary Range: $23.00 - $29.00 hourly
