UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for Family Medicine Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Medicine Clinic in Davenport, IA

+ Outpatient only practice

+ .8 FTE

+ Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy

+ Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community

+ EPIC EMR

Responsibilities

+ Average of 18-22 patients per day; no nights or weekends

+ Telephonic outpatient call only, no need to physically report to clinic/hospital

+ Call shared equitably by primary care providers

+ Calls are triaged through My Nurse Call Center, very minimal call volume

+ Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

+ Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

+ Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

+ Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

+ Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

+ Board Certified

+ Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

+ Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice
