BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced **Assistant Nurse Manager** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at **Winter Haven Hospita** l!

BayCare Behavioral Health – Winter Have Hospital Center for Behavioral Health offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services to adults, adolescents, and children suffering from behavioral health issues, emotional problems, and chemical dependency. Our experienced team is comprised of licensed counselors, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals.

The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for:

+ Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills.

+ Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process.

+ Acting as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.

+ Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ RN (Registered Nurse)

+ Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:

+ Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

+ 2 years RN Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute experience.

+ 1 year leadership experience - preferred.
