Description We are seeking a skilled corporate counsel for our client in Tysons Corner, VA. The corporate counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on employment issues, investigations, contracts, intellectual property, real estate, compliance, and general corporate matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with business units and employees at all levels to address legal matters

Serving as a point of contact for the Board of Directors’ Governance Committee

Overseeing external legal counsel to manage costs and ensure focused guidance

Conducting internal investigations on legal or ethical concerns

Supporting company-wide projects and departmental budgeting

Managing the ethics reporting system, ensuring adherence to corporate ethics education programs

Supervising a team to achieve departmental and organizational goals

Drafting and reviewing contracts and vendor agreements

Offering legal advice on government disputes related to Federal Acquisition Regulations

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate degree and licensed to practice law in the U.S.

10+ years of relevant legal experience, including litigation, investigations, and compliance

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of nonprofit organizations, federal contracting, and privacy laws Requirements Licensed Attorney, Commercial Contracts, Contract Negotiation, Draft Contracts, Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)
