A fast-growing SaaS company is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement within a collaborative and well-established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who wants to gain exposure to a wide variety of accounting functions, grow their skills, and advance over time in a high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP

+ Prepare and analyze journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

+ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Oversee fixed assets and payroll journal entries

+ Support accounts payable, vendor reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations

+ Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting

+ Generate custom financial reports and provide analysis for leadership

+ Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations

Schedule:

+ 100% in-office during training (approx. 6 months)

+ Hybrid schedule available afterward: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (Mon & Fri remote)

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

+ CPA or CPA in progress strongly preferred

+ 5+ years of accounting experience (industry required; mix of public/private considered)

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, complex formulas – will be tested)

+ ERP/accounting software experience (Sage, Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)

+ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

+ Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 (3.2+ strongly preferred)
