    Preferred Qualifications:

    + A strong background in safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, safety engineering, environmental sciences, or a similar field

    + Certified Industrial Hygienist ( CIH ) and/or Certified Safety Professional ( CSP ) designation

    + Demonstrated experience in providing safety and health training with the intent to reduce risk

    + Demonstrated experience in an academic or research environment

    + Experience in supervising staff
