**Summary of Position (Job Purpose)** _- Major purpose and functions of the position._

Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly closing of the general ledger. Responsible for the Company’s compliance with Rule 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Responsible for managing the annual financial statement audit and quarterly reviews. Responsible for all monthly/annual reporting for bank debt

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities** _- Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance_

+ Manage the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of the financial statements on a monthly basis

+ Prepare and upload financial statements and backup to bank

+ Ensure the maintenance of proper documentation of accounting policies and procedures and control activities

+ Review or prepare workpapers required for the financial statement audit and the quarterly reviews

+ Coordinate the quarterly communication with the Board/Executive Ownership team

+ Oversee the process for the timely reconciliation of all balance sheet and certain income statement general ledger accounts

+ Prepare and/or review certain monthly account reconciliations for reasonableness and accuracy

+ Summarize and evaluate the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting issues involving publicly filed documents

+ Supervise, support and develop the direct reports listed above

+ Assist the VP - Controller with his/her responsibilities and work on special projects when appropriate

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications** _- Summary of knowledge, experience and education required._

+ CPA or suitable equivalent

+ College degree in Accounting

+ Strong financial technical knowledge and analytical skills

+ Three or more years in public accounting, including participation in the audits of publicly held companies or equivalent experience

+ Good communication and supervisory skills
