    _Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking a Research Associate to support preclinical studies in musculoskeletal biology and advanced cell culture._

     

    **Title:** Research Associate – (In-vitro/ In-vivo)

    **Location:** San Diego, CA

    **Pay Rate:** $40–45/hr (flexible for the right candidate)

    **Contract Duration:** 6-month contract with potential to convert to hire

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to support preclinical studies in musculoskeletal biology and advanced cell culture. This role will contribute to sample processing, tissue analysis, and cutting-edge methods such as spatial transcriptomics and multi-omics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with in vivo models and applying a wide range of molecular and cellular biology techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support **in vivo research** using mouse models, including dissection, tissue collection, and skeletal/muscle sample processing.

    + Isolate and culture primary cells (e.g., fibroblasts, C2C12 cells, myoblasts, satellite cells).

    + Conduct ASO/siRNA screening, multi-omics assays, and next-generation sequencing (RNA-seq, single-cell, spatial).

    + Perform RNA/DNA/protein extractions, FFPE tissue sectioning, IHC/IF staining, fibrosis quantification, and fluorescence microscopy.

    + Accurately document experiments in an electronic lab notebook and present data to the research team.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or related field.

    + Proven **in vivo experience** (mouse handling, dissections, tissue harvesting).

    + Skilled in primary cell culture and differentiation.

    + Background in RNA biology, fibrosis models, or NGS workflows strongly preferred.

    + Ability to adapt quickly and learn new laboratory techniques.INDBH
