MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior IT Systems Administrator** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Providing end-user support to personnel utilizing ITD IT systems.
+ Triaging help desk tickets for a broad range of service requests to include file transfers, assistance with desktops and peripheral equipment, account management, and other user-focused incidents.
+ Installation, accountability, maintenance, and decommission of physical desktop, data center equipment and other IT assets.
+ Performing general operations & maintenance for COTS/GOTS hardware and software.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related IT discipline. An associate's degree with seven years of experience may be substituted.
+ Certification: Current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP) or the ability to obtain one within 180 days.
+ System Experience: Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
+ End-User Support: Experience providing help-desk support for common desktop and server issues and with installing and configuring physical equipment.
+ Network & Software Management: Ability to provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, including performing software installations and upgrades.
+ Documentation & Compliance: Experience with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) procedures/processes, as well as writing clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation.
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
