+ Montrose Regional Health revenue integrity is the auditing and active monitoring to ensure the appropriate level of care or service is billed to the patient.

About The Career:

+ The purpose of the Clinical Revenue Specialist position is to ensure the integrity and quality of physician and nursing documentation in the medical record, accurately reflecting the clinical assessment, diagnosis, and outcomes resulting from the medical care provided. This position combines the unique skill sets of the Utilization Review Nurse and Clinical Documentation Specialist to facilitate documentation that clearly supports medical necessity and level of care, assists in coding and charge capture, contributes to quality reporting measures, and ensures accurate reimbursement. The Clinical Revenue Specialist is a key contributor to process improvement, provider and staff education, and Revenue Cycle Initiatives.

All About You :

+ Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado.

+ Knowledge of criteria for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage.

+ Minimum of three (3) years acute hospital nursing experience required; two (2) to three (3) years Case Management experience preferred; and one (1) to two (2) years Utilization Review experience preferred.
