    The role you'll contribute:

    The Certified Central Processing Tech functions as a member of the support team for the hospital. He/she is responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment used in providing direct patient care. The Certified Central Processing Tech is cross-trained to assume all responsibilities within the scope of the Central Processing Department.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Accurately assemble instrument trays.

    + Sterilize instruments.

    + Return sterile instruments to their proper location.

    + Stock patient care equipment.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    High School Diploma

     

    Certification obtained through HSPA or CBSPD
