The Penn Medicine Recruitment team is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the General Medicine unit, Silverstein 12 @ The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania!

_The Advanced Medicine units at HUP specialize in General Medicine with Telemetry. The units see a wide variety of patient populations to care for such as chronic disease, infectious disease, cardiac, psychiatric, GI and renal. The unit uses a broad range of technology that includes Philips Intellivue Information Center and EASI 5-Lead telemetry system, MAC 5000 EKG machines, Philips HeartStart MRx biphasic defibrillator, Medley infusion pumps, mini-infusers, bladder scanners, and Doppler._

Summary: To ensure adequate staffing within Nursing, an internal professional per diem nursing group exists at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). This group is identified as HUPlan. HUPlan nurses may be used to supplement regular clinical nurses. HUPlan nurses must be clinically competent in the clinical area in which they practice.

Minimum Requirements: • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, at time of hire. • Must have more than 15 months relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable, at time of hire. • Must possess active Pennsylvania RN License, at time of hire. • Must possess active BLS/CPR, as a healthcare provider as per the American Heart Association at time of hire
