Position Overview

International’s Procurement team is seeking a dedicated Project Manager-Tariff and Trade to join our Lisle, IL office.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical tariff and trade operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging yet supportive setting, driving compliance, efficiency, and process improvements while partnering across the organization.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with Commodity Management Teams (CMTs) to efficiently manage supplier tariff impacts.

+ Lead Tariff Committee Meetings

+ Manage standardized workflow for tariff risks; schedule and establish Committee meeting agendas

+ Document, coordinate communication, archive for Committee Records of Decision to the broader Procurement organization

+ Plan and execute other tariff-related mitigation projects

+ Support processes to ensure compliance to the USMCA Agreement.

+ Manager standardized workflow for USMCA analysis under forward sourcing processes and the USMCA Escalation Process.

+ Support development and execution of key source localization projects to improve compliance to Regional Value Content (RVC) requirements.

+ Provide support to Corporate Trade Compliance and the USMCA Modeling Sub-Committee.

+ Develop detailed project plans and perform critical path analysis using Microsoft Project, as needed

+ Lead cross-functional resolution of a wide range of complex problems in innovative ways, including issues where precedent may not exist

+ Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise

+ Coordinate cross-functional risk and issues investigations and mitigation

+ May instruct, coach or provide informal guidance to colleagues with less experience

+ Present project status to Senior Procurement management and Executive level audiences

+ Identifies needed resources for cross functional project teams

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

+ At least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

+ At least 8 years of purchasing/procurement experience

+ At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. + Experience managing a projects with cross-functional teams and suppliers in different regions / time zones / culturesPMP preferred

+ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt training and/or certification preferred
