    Posting Description

    PROGRAM MANAGER, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, will be responsible for reporting and communicating with the PI, leadership team and implementation team; ensuring deliverables are on time, stay with expected scope, and on budget; monitoring, tracking, and reporting the status of deliverables and generating annual project reports; escalating issues to the leadership team, tracking sustainability, and tracking program evaluation and metrics; developing the annual project plan and championing project management processes; understanding the project objectives and seeking opportunities to influence or contribute to project activities to achieve these objectives; coordinating activities between the local and partner implementation teams; and for researching, writing, and disseminating the newsletter.The full description is available here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/bs43lavldstns42tkjkii/Project-Manager-Position-Description-STIRR\_Saxe.pdf?rlkey=s9a7pu7527o8xqjon6gjoa20t&st=cddaioyh&dl=0

    Job Requirements

    REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a minimum of three years of related experience with administration and program management in a scientific setting; strong practical experience in project management; to be highly efficient and task-oriented; time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines; experience using and tailoring for teams various project management tools and software’ excellent analytical and problem solving abilities; attention to detail and very strong documentation and workflow management skills; excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in coordination with a team for advancing shared objectives on a very assertive timeline; ability to prioritize, make decisions, problem-solve, and ask for help; familiarity with neuroscience; experience with open science, reproducible workflows, and rigorous research methodology; and demonstrated commitment to transparency, rigor, and reproducibility in research. PREFERRED: PhD in neuroscience or related field.
