HR Manager

About the role: We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience and a strong background in a tech startup environment. This role will focus primarily on human resources management while also involving aspects of recruitment and office management.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (60%):

+ Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

+ Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution

+ Implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention

+ Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals

Recruiting (30%):

+ Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding

+ Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions

+ Utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry

Office Management (10%):

+ Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and logistics to ensure a productive work environment

+ Assist with organizing company-wide events and employee celebrations

+ Support facilities management to maintain office operations smoothly

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

+ A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within a tech startup

+ Strong understanding of HR principles and practices

+ Proven recruiting skills with a focus on identifying and attracting top talent

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

+ Proficient with HR software and tools
