**Pay:** $38.77-52.32 per hour based upon licensed nursing experience

Position Purpose:
The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to department nurse leadership. Assists with timekeeping, scheduling, data reporting/collection. They will function as the daily shift leader of the multidisciplinary team. Identifies and assists in resolution of problems related to safety, sanitation and maintenance of the environment. Practices effective communication in all interactions (patient, visitor, co-worker, etc.). Promotes a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork. Responsible for direct patient care of the hospitalized patients, providing a safe and therapeutic environment.
In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
**Shift Available** : Day Shift - Hours could vary between 7am-5pm
**Status Available** : Full time, benefit eligible (80 hours per pay period – every two weeks)
Required Qualifications
+ Requires current Michigan Nursing License
+ Graduation from accredited nursing program
+ New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
+ 2 years minimum experience with demonstrated leadership skills
+ BSN preferred
+ Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
+ Business acumen
+ Experience with data analysis
+ Experience with using EPIC data analytics highly desired
What you will do:
+ Responsible for data reporting, collection, creating documents
+ Attends daily huddles and note any issues in departments
+ Attends all team meetings and quality meetings, reporting out data
+ Rounds with Quality team
+ Assists with timekeeping and scheduling as needed
+ Fills in as direct patient care team member as needed
